KELLY GIRL BREAKS NATIONAL RECORD

Following her success at the Western Short Course Championships, Elaine Reyes was selected to compete for Gibralta in a international meeting in Geneva. Elaine, who is only 16, broke two National Records; the first in the 200m Individual Medley [Long Course- 50m] where she swam a time of 2 min. 37.59 seconds and the second in the 200m Freestyle [Long Course- 50m] in a time of 2 min 17.91 seconds.

Elaine, who is only in the Fifth form, is sure gain a place on the Gibraltar National Team for this year's Commonwealth Games in Manchester, as she has already achieved the National consideration times.
