Eton Triathlon

We had a very successful event at the Eton Triathlon, which is part of the Nation Youth and Junior Series.

Thomas Phillips finished 4th in the Junior Event, with Mathew Slator not finish due to a achillies injury. Thomas raced with determination and has proven to himself, that he can compete with the best in his age group.

Alex Richards finished 21st in his race, but was 11th in his age Category as many Juniors opted to race the shorter distance. This was a great results as it was his first open water swim and drat legal cycle triathlon. The start of an open water swim is like being in a boxing ring with too many people and is extremely daunting. He is also at the bottom of a two year age group which makes the performance more impressive.
