Well done to all the Kelly College swimmers who took part in the above Championships and Age Groups over the last month at Central Park, Plymouth and Exe Valley Pool, Tiverton. 

This year must go down as one of the best in recent years.  Last year Jack Cockerton (4 wins) was our only Championship winner, this year we have six Championship winners Jack (5), David Kelly (2), Sophie Calpin, Amanda Sanderson, Luke Wakefield and Jakie Wellman, eleven championships altogether.  Championship runners up were Matthew Henry (2), David Kelly (2), Thomas Howe, Holly Yeo, Luke Wakefield, Sophie Calpin  and  Sophie Stanford.

Overall we won 62 golds, 60 silver and 58 bronze medals.  We achieved 28 Age Group Records.

David Hill broke the European and British S9 Disability records for the 200m Backstroke and the 50m Backstroke. (to be ratified).

David Kelly won the mens skins event (taking home £30.00)

with Luke Wakefield as runner up (£20.00)   

Jakie Wellman (£20.00) was runner up in the Ladies skins event to Melitta Winlove of Exeter City.
