Speedo League Final Round

The final round of the Speedo League took place on Saturday 10th December at Millfield but Kelly College’s team was struck by illness which resulted in more than 6 key swimmers being unable to take part.  However the depleted team fought bravely through the event. By the end of the evening Kelly College had gained three 1st places, three 2nd places and four 3rd places. In the relay events Kelly College gained three 3rd places against very strong opposition finishing the gala in 8th place. Although a disappointing overall result, the evening produced some brilliant swims with the following pupils breaking school records:  Holly Yeo 100m Breaststroke, Danny Brown 100m Breaststroke, Matthew Henry 100m Backstroke, Jack Cockerton 100m Breaststroke and 200 Individual Medley and Luke Wakefield 100m Butterfly.
