Exmouth Fairbouy Swim

On 3rd June 2007 Caroline Ball took part in  the Exmouth Fairbouy Swim - a 5mile open water competition.  Along with 36 other competitors and a canoeist for each swimmer, Caroline entered the sea at 1.45pm - 44mins later, along with the help of Gareth Cowell, her canoeist & long time friend, she was the first swimmer to go around the buoy and make for home.  After a steady and well judged second leg she finished the race still in first place overall in a time of 1hr 33mins collecting the Carla Garratt Memorial Trophy.
