Kelly College 50m Pool Project

Kelly College has been considering for some time the development of a Long Course Training Facility for our school in Tavistock, Devon. We are all aware of the difficulties in accessing quality and cost effective 50m pool training on a regular basis. Although Millfield and Bath provide opportunities for swimming clubs and organisations in the North of the region, and the new Life Centre in Plymouth will provide access for Beacon Programme swimmers, and some clubs in the South - we believe that there are many other clubs who, due to location, may not be in a position to access 50m training. In addition, it may not always be possible to gain preferred training times, or access at all, due to demand and availability. By completing this survey you will help us gain a better understanding of the need for access to quality water time in a 50m pool.
Our aim is to provide cost effective access to training during weekdays, weekends and school holidays with dining and accommodation options.
Your help in completing this questionnaire is greatly appreciated and will help to determine the potential for developing this new training facility for the swimming and aquatic community within our region.
