    Kelly College have submitted a bid for one of the surplus ten lane 50m pools that will be available after the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics are over. This is part of the Olympic Legacy Programme and success would enable the existing pool to be freed for more community use. Read more »

  74. Beth - Double National Champion

    Beth Watmore (13) competing at the Welsh National Summer Championships this month, collected two National titles, 100m & 200m breaststroke and a Welsh record in the 100m breaststroke.     22nd Nov 2010: Kelly College disability swimmers, Lauren Steadman, Michael Jones and Ellen Keane were in great form at the National Short Course Disability Championships, held at Ponds Forge International Pool in Sheffield last weekend.   115. ESSA Division 5 Qualifying Event

    Six teams from Kelly took part in the English Schools Swimming Association (ESSA) Division 5 qualifying event for the National Championships to be held in Stockport on 5th February, 2011. Sixteen teams from each age group, which are Junior (11-14), Intermediate (15-16) and Senior (17-18), from around the Country will be invited to Stockport to compete against one another to find the National Champions.     Kelly Swimmers were in action at the ASA South West Regional Short Course Championships on the 6th and 7th November. After 2 days of intense early season racing Kelly came away with 3 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze medals, producing 66 personal best performances and 15 new age group club records. Read more »

    The fantastic new Omega starting block has arrived from Switzerland and has now been installed. Many thanks for Friends of Kelly, who donated half the cost of the new block.     Kelly College Swim Squad had 22 swimmers competing in what turned out to be a truly entertaining and exciting finale of the annual City of Plymouth Meet. Kelly swimmers produced 55 personal best times, broke 10 City of Plymouth records, and won 12 gold, 16 silver and 10 bronze medals, they also won 14 BAGCAT (British Age Group Categories) trophies.
