The second weekend of the ASA South West BAGCAT Championships at Millfield School , Somerset proved to be just as successful as the first weekend, with two swimmers medalling, one gold, and two bronze medals and three Kelly College age group records broken.
Victoria Moore, at the tender age of 10 produced a magnificent swim to gain gold in the 100m Butterfly in a time of 1.24.19, which is also a Kelly age group record. Victoria also placed 3rd in the 200m freestyle in 2.38.37 and although Victoria did not medal in the 100m backstroke, she produced yet another Kelly age group record in 1.24.61 in the final. Victoria also made the finals of the 100m Freestyle (5th), 200m Backstroke (5th) and the 200m IM (4th).
Ella Ellis(11), just missing out on a national qualifying time in the 100m Butterfly, secured a bronze medal and Kelly College age group record in a time of 1.17.51.
Daniel Gillard(12) made the final of the 100m breaststroke, finishing in 5th position.
Sophie Hastings (13), in her first swims for Kelly College, made the finals of the 100m fly (4th) and the 100m Freestyle (7th). Erin Walsh (13) swam to a 7 second pb to finish 4th in the final of the 200m backstroke.
Personal best swims were recorded by Victoria Callow, Ella Ellis, Daniel Gillard, Sophie Hastings, Victoria Moore, Melissa Murdoch and Erin Walsh.
