Kelly College swimmers at the City of Newport Open Meet.
Some of Kelly College's aspiring younger age group swimmers descended on Wales to compete at the City of Newport Open Meet where they performed outstandingly and left with a collection of medals and personal best times. Several of the swimmers had just returned from a 10 day warm weather training camp in Lanzarote.
32 personal best times were achieved by the 6 swimmers from Kelly, twelve medals were won and five Kelly College age group records were broken, all by Tom Brew (10) in the 100m & 400m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke, 100m Breaststroke and the 100m Butterfly.
Medallists for Kelly were Tom Brew, Georgia Jones (12), Nathan Linden (10), Will Luckham-Down (12). Personal best times were achieved by Tom, Georgia, Nathan, Will, Millie Murdoch (12) and Dan Gillard (13).
